Tara's work emerges from a profound sense of social concern, driven by care and empathy for those who have been displaced. As an Iranian artist who relocated to the Netherlands, she channels her practice to engage with the experiences of asylum seekers, traveling to camps across diverse locations to listen attentively, absorb, and bear witness. Through her art, she transforms the stories of these individuals into interactive visual installations, allowing their journeys to be heard.
Her graduation project reflects the passage they endureāa journey shaped by uncertainty and loss. The installation serves as a grief monument, inviting viewers to bear witness to this collective tragedy.
Through the creation of creative workshops in her practice, art becomes a bridge for reclaiming narratives and amplifying the voices of those often unheard.
