When it becomes clear that almost all of Guus' friends are leaving Groningen, he is left with a lost feeling. With whom will there be chatting, eating, drinking, dancing, laughing, cuddling, living, partying, bonviving, living? What if all those departing people are forced to stay with him and close to him: in the same house? A search for a shape for this dream house begins.
At the same time, another quest begins for the spatial design student: how to live in this complicated world? With drawings, collages, texts and more, an answer is sought to far too complex questions, about who he is and how to deal with all those other people and with yourself.
Slowly, these two quests become one: the shape of the house is influenced by the things that Guus discovers in that other quest. The choices that are made about the house expose things that were previously unclear.
Ultimately, the result is a house that is not only a dream home but also a reflection on what it is like to be young and develop, or in a broader sense to be human and to live in this world. Wanneer het duidelijk wordt dat bijna al zijn vrienden Groningen verlaten, blijft Guus achter met een verloren gevoel. Met wie zal er nog gekletst, gegeten, gedronken, gedanst, gelachen, geknuffeld, geleefd, gefeest, gebonvied worden? Wat als al die vertrekkende mensen gedwongen zouden kunnen worden om bij hem en dicht bij hem te blijven: in hetzelfde huis? Een zoektocht naar een vorm voor dit droomhuis begint.
Tegelijkertijd start een andere zoektocht voor de student ruimtelijk ontwerp: hoe te leven in deze gecompliceerde wereld? Met tekeningen, collages, teksten en meer wordt gezocht naar een antwoord op veel te complexe vragen, over wie hij is en hoe om te gaan met al die andere mensen en met jezelf.
Langzaam vloeien deze twee zoektochten samen: de vorm van het huis wordt beïnvloed door de dingen die Guus ontdekt in die andere zoektocht. De keuzes die worden gemaakt over het huis, leggen dingen bloot die voorheen onduidelijk waren.
Uiteindelijk is het resultaat een huis dat niet alleen een droomhuis is, maar ook een reflectie op hoe het is om jong te zijn en je te ontwikkelen, of in bredere zin om mens te zijn en te leven in deze wereld. Een plek waar hopelijk veel gekletst, gegeten, gedronken, gedanst, gelachen, geknuffeld, geleefd, gefeest en gebonvied kan worden.
