Stinna
Stinna is a homegrown writer who, throughout the years, has grown a real heart for hiphop. The biggest influence within his youth has been his mother, who as a graduated Dutch linguist, managed to feed his love for the Dutch language. From there followed texts in the form of short stories, columns, poetry, small books and eventually hiphop tracks. Stinna’s personal belief states that current hiphop is missing some certain lyrical depth. In any case in the so called mainstream. This way Stinna sees it as his personal mission to lyrically redefine the rapscene. With his biggest influences being names as: Sticks, Fresku, Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole, he tries to rediscover the essence of hiphop not just as music, but as a culture. At a Stinna performance, expect record scratches and breakdance influences, as he parades on stage in that classic Y2K style.
