[Work 1] Self-mixing [Work 2] ex-BODY-ex
I can no longer find the distance between myself and contemporary technologies; observing the system from the outside has become impossible, and my relation to technology grows increasingly confused.
My ongoing artistic research explores how body-extension emerges when a vulnerable body engages with the world through technological mediation. Through the co-constitutive iteration between human and machine, and the shifting position of the āIā within the system, the assumption that subjectivity can be separated from the body is challenged, an idea often found in contemporary technological imaginaries. Rather, subjectivity emerges through the body, understood here not as a bounded entity, but as a system constituted by both human and machine.
