NOT 27 YET

Hi there, my dear audience! I am Riley (Tzu Yu) Huang but you can just call me Riley if you see me around. You are going to see a lot of me throughout these works. I hope you have participated in the series of information overloads I've thrown at you. Everything you see here is drawn from my deeply personal writings and lived experiences, spanning live performance, film, and behind-the-scenes archives. And thank you for having the patience to read through all of this, because in an era where our attention is constantly fragmented and hijacked, to have your focus is something I am deeply grateful for.
This cycle of ""building, breaking, and being ready to rebuild"" was ultimately recorded into this roughly 30-minute autobiographical film (video essay), a manifesto-style live performance, and the accompanying text titled Behind the Scenes.
For a long time, I was chasing a myth. Accepting the uncertainty of life has given me a completely new kind of strength. I am no longer obsessed with becoming that perfect, tragically romantic ""Hero."" Instead, I choose to roll up my sleeves, dive into the chaos, and be an ""Adventurer"" who actually has fun along the way. Thank you for participating in this adventure of mine, I am finally ready to face the next stage without fear. Welcome to the mess, and enjoy the ride!
