Design - Spatial Design

The Care Space

This project explores the design of a shared nail workspace shaped by daylight, comfort, and human interaction. The workstation is designed for both the nail artist and the client, focusing on visibility, well-being, ergonomics, and atmosphere. Through spatial studies, physical models, and light experiments, the project investigates how natural daylight can improve precision work while creating a calm and supportive environment. Special attention is given to light direction, shadow control, posture, privacy, and visual comfort. By focusing on one workstation rather than the full salon, the project aims to rethink the nail workspace as a carefully designed environment that supports both precision work and human experience.
