Design - Illustration & Animation Design

Myrthe Pijlman is an illustrator and visual artist with a passion for creature design. Inspired by nature and paleontology, Myrthe creates imaginary creatures and brings them to life through drawings and mixed media sculptures. 

Primordial is about the journey of the Merrin, a small and curious creature who leaves the safety of his home to explore the uncharted world beyond. On this path he encounters many strange beings, each with their own habits and stories. While documenting his new experiences, the Merrin slowly discovers more about his world and his own place in it.
