Pinky Promise

Hannah Lucie Heukamp is a graphic designer and artist working primarily with photography, graphic design, and sculptural art. Her practice is inspired by observations of human behavior, everyday gestures, and overlooked details.
In Pinky Promise, she explores hands as an archive of emotion, memory, intimacy, and identity. Through photography and curated visual narratives, the project investigates how touch and gesture can communicate personal stories without showing a face, using hands as portraits.
By capturing small physical moments, the work transforms ordinary gestures into emotional narratives, inviting viewers to reflect on connection, vulnerability, and the subtle ways people communicate through touch.
