De Tussenruimte

"De Tussenruimte" explores my personal quest for spirituality and the feeling that there is more than the world we know. Out of my curiosity about faith, rituals and meaning, I started writing down my own theories and stories.

In the work, I show parts of my spiritual quest.
Human and animal figures move through the illustrations to depict different life paths.
The figures seem to be searching for meaning, purpose and connection.

The lamp, which is attached to the canvas, contains additional illustrations and provides an example of a reality beyond the present, a spiritual layer that resembles a heaven.

The work is based on my own theory, speculations and curiosity about faith.
Not to provide answers to that one question... but to create space for reflection and personal interpretation.
