Annika van Hemert is a designer from Groningen. In her work, she combines current topics, storytelling, graphic design, and personal observations to make subjects more understandable, human, and open to discussion. She is interested in how text and design together can offer support, recognition, or context.

Her graduation project is a magazine for teenage girls aged 15 to 20. Through interviews, essays, illustration, and visual experiments, the magazine explores what it means to grow up in a time of constant stimulation, pressure to succeed, and online comparison. The project is both critical and hopeful: not intended to solve problems, but to create space for topics that often feel deeply personal, yet are shared by many young people.
