Angeliki Boukouvala, a spatial and interior designer, is driven by curiosity and a focus on functionality, aiming to improve everyday life through thoughtful design. Her work explores how spaces can enhance human experience, balancing practicality, atmosphere, and materiality.

Throughout her studies, Angeliki focused on space planning, conceptual design, and residential interventions. Her projects investigate the relationship between people, space, and context, combining modern design approaches with sensitivity to materials and environment. Her current interest lies in the intersection of historical architecture, restoration, and contemporary living. 

For her graduation project, she developed a design strategy for Thessaloniki’s antiparochi buildings, proposing a “second skin” system that enhances environmental performance while preserving architectural identity.

This project is a conceptual and research-based architectural proposal addressing urban loss, sustainability, and cultural continuity. It explores how existing structures can be adapted rather than replaced, creating a balance between past and present.
