EASY TO MISS - Carlien Kiers
Carlien works with the details of everyday life — residual material, found phrases, routines. Her practice moves between fixing and forgetting, digging up and disappearing. She works with what is scavenged together — stitched, stapled, stuck — looking for meaning in what is easy to miss.
In her graduation project, she treats the room like an opened book: no beginning or end, but a collection of markings that together whisper something about disappearing, being seen, and the weight of the mundane.
