Non-Wood Fibers in Packaging
Sophie Nikulcova, a product designer, is driven by the potential of design to connect disciplines, nature, and people. She aims to tackle environmental challenges rather than create unsustainable short-term products.
Throughout her studies, Sophie focused on sustainable materials. Most of her projects explore innovative ways to utilize these materials to enhance various aspects of daily life.
Her current interest lies in the large-scale implementation of sustainable products. For her graduation project, she conducted research for Philips Grooming & Beauty packaging department, proposing different ways to integrate non-wood plant-based materials into packaging designs.
