Inauthentic Kitchen

Working with photography and installation, I deconstruct narrow spatial definitions shaped by politics or geography, proposing identity as a shared narrative—a mindset rather than a mapped location.

My work infiltrates the intimate space of kitchens, exposing private cooking rituals to examine how they forge new personal memories. These stories are reimagined as playful menus. In parallel, a tabletop installation traces my two-year journey of identity fragmentation and reconstruction.

Culinary narratives become a lens to interrogate how we construct personal and collective meaning, urging us to reconsider the seemingly simple question: Where are we from?
