Overload is a collection of illustrations that brings the experience of sensory overload to life. Each illustration shows, in a unique and personal way, how differently people perceive these overwhelming sensations.
Serra van Wijngaarden is a passionate designer based in Groningen. With a background in spatial design, she combines aesthetics and functionality in her furniture and object designs. Her love for craftsmanship allows her to fully explore materials and find balance in her creations. Driven by challenges and experimentation, she continuously explores new possibilities. As a neurodiverse designer, she aims not only to create sustainable designs but also to raise awareness and foster connection within the neurodiverse community, using design as a powerful means of communication.
