ZERO TO ART: Dialogue Vault
Flavia Sandu is a graphic designer specializing in visual identities and editorial design, with a strong focus on the cultural sector. She works across both print and digital media, concentrating on building brands that effectively convey stories. Her design approach is both practical and layered, investigating how visual language can foster new connections, encourage dialogue, and deepen audience engagement. This ongoing exploration led her to co-found ZERO TO ART, an initiative dedicated to sharing the stories of emerging artists.
ZERO TO ART: Dialogue Vault
ZERO TO ART: Dialogue Vault is a publication featuring 10 conversations with emerging artists based in Groningen. These dialogues are documented through interviews, articles, and raw transcripts. The project delves into how graphic design can translate the subtleties of verbal communication into print. It introduces a new set of punctuation marks specifically designed to immerse readers more deeply in the dialogue, creating a space where conversations are visually vibrant, shaped by identity, typography, and the unique textures of the city. This publication captures and reflects the diverse voices currently shaping Groningen's vibrant young cultural scene.
