Quality Time
In a world designed for speed, efficiency, and convenience, moments of true connection are becoming rare. The fast pace of contemporary life often reduces shared experiences: meals are rushed, conversations are distracted, and time together is cut short. Simultaneously, modern design often prioritizes minimalism and uniformity, stripping away playfulness and expression. Eva challenges this mindset with Quality Time, a collection that embraces slowness, interaction, and joy.
Eva’s practice is rooted in an exploration of ceramic techniques, combining traditional and contemporary methods to push the boundaries of the medium. This project showcases a variety of skills, from wheel-thrown pottery and slipcasting to hand-building and experimental surface treatments. By integrating these approaches, she highlights the diversity and richness of ceramic craftsmanship, demonstrating that ceramics is a powerful medium for artistic expression and storytelling.
With Quality Time, Eva seeks to inspire a deeper appreciation for playful, expressive design and to encourage people to take moments for themselves and others, celebrating slowness, presence, and the joy of shared experiences.
