Imaginary Fortress
Clara Negrila’s work centers on providing viewers with unique experiences, whether ephemeral or timeless.
In her graduation project, Clara creates an immersive experience by combining contemporary dance with lights, sound, and animated projections. She embraced collaboration in her creative process, with a soundscape designed by S.Maze, whose work added depth and atmosphere to the performance.
By telling a very personal story about the inner walls she builds and the value of vulnerability, she invites the audience to connect with her struggles and feel safe to confront repressed emotions; ultimately guiding them back to their vulnerable selves.
