"Cultivating Community"

Adam Balogh’s auto-ethnographic practice focuses on storytelling and empathy to create safe spaces for connection. He believes in the power of sharing stories and the healing that comes from being heard, even if such actions are often intangible. His activism thrives in building queer communities and collaborating with those whose creative practices reflect their identities. Adam’s work includes poetry, letter writing, graphic design, and small handmade pieces that preserve the essence of daily encounters. As a designer, Adam consciously stepped back from commercialized aesthetics and the colonial idea of perfect art, choosing instead to cherish real stories from real encounters.

A Letter To My Past

The installation 'A Letter To My Past' serves as a safe space to sit down, connect, engage in dialogues, or simply take a deep breath, reflect on oneself, and share a story.
