Club NOORD: ESNS x Academie Minerva x NOORD

Academie Minerva will be focusing on emerging talent during ESNS on 15 and 16 January. With a packed programme in collaboration with NOORD, Minerva Academy for Pop Culture and the Kunstkantine, you can immerse yourself in panels, art and, of course, lots of music for two days.

The Central Hall and canteen of the Minerva Art Academy on Zuiderdiep will be transformed into a Eurosonic venue, pop stage and pop-up gallery, all accessible without a ticket. Visitors with a festival wristband can attend the ESNS programme in the building on Praediniussingel.

Programme
During ESNS (Eurosonic Noorderslag), Club NOORD is the meeting place for northern creators, musicians, professionals and audiences. Together with artists, festivals, pop organisations and educational institutions, NOORD, ESNS and Academie Minerva are organising a free programme full of encounters, exchanges and experimentation. During the day, there is room for discussions, panels and workshops; in the evening, the club transforms into an official ESNS stage where new northern talent presents itself to each other, visitors and the music industry.

For the second time, Club NOORD will be hosted in the Academie Minerva building on Zuiderdiep. Minerva contributes to the programme not only as a location but also as a content partner, with a shared focus on talent development, creation and experimentation. Minerva will present a music programme featuring artists from the Academy for Pop Culture, and there will be space for students and creators to exhibit and sell their work via De Kunstkantine.

The Club NOORD programme is the result of broad collaboration with partners from across the North. From NOORD, the hub for northern pop culture, ESNS, Friesland Pop, Noordstaat, Popfabryk, POPgroningen, Poppunt Drenthe and Stichting Kunst & Cultuur are jointly committed to the development and professionalisation of northern pop culture.

Club NOORD is part of the official ESNS programme and focuses on northern creators, audiences and (inter)national professionals. It is a place to hang out, discover, meet and celebrate northern pop culture together.
