On 19 September, the exhibitions of Fall: Five Fails - New Works after Bas Jan Ader open with a large public programme. The exhibitions, including Fall-Fail at Academie Minerva is on display from 19 to 29 September.

The locations Kunstruime Block C, SIGN, Pictura, ARTisBOOK and Academie Minerva will show new works by artists inspired by the theme of failure and falling, under the title Fall: Five Fails - New Works after Bas Jan Ader. The exhibition will take place from 19 September to 29 September.

In the Koepelzaal of Academie Minerva, Fine Art students present new works inspired by two central themes in Ader's oeuvre: falling and failure.

Students: Bella du Toit, Yaga Piątek, Fardau Visser, Beniamin Visarion, Johanna Land, Shervin Atighehchi, Gillian Heinsohn, Julius Joplin, Sjoerd Rep, Nina Klaasing en Nastja Keks. 

The programme for the opening will be announced in September.

The Fall 2025: Bas Jan Ader Revisited

This is a part of The Fall 2025: Bas Jan Ader Revisited - a collective tribute by art institutions in Groningen to pay homage to artist Bas Jan Ader (1942-1975). In exhibitions, performances and public activities, artists and students explore the themes of fall and failure, central to his work.
Collaboration with Academie Minerva, ARTisBOOK, Kunstruimte Block C, Groninger Museum, Pictura, SIGN and Stichting Gedeelde Verhalen.
