Graduation Festival Academy of Pop Culture

On 16 December, the graduation festival will take place at Neushoorn (Leeuwarden). Expect an eclectic evening with ten very different performances. With ingredients like activism and fun, another interdisciplinary programme awaits you, in which dreamy landscapes alternate with hilarious sketches, stomping hardcore, art installations and a performance on cancel culture. Put it in your calendar because you don't want to miss this!

About Academy for Pop Culture 

The Academy for Pop Culture in Leeuwarden offers the Bachelor of Arts in Popular Culture, unique in the Netherlands. Students are trained to become interdisciplinary and entrepreneurial artists, with a focus on developing innovative artistic concepts at the intersection of sound, visuals and media. Graduates enter various fields as artistic professionals. For example, they perform on stage, write songs, make tracks, create accompanying clips or visuals, develop festivals, or design them, or have a podcast or website in which they present themselves or others. Sometimes as individual artists but also often in collectives or changing collaborations. Building for an audience is central to this broad, interdisciplinary programme.
