Reisma van den Burg stipend

From 26 May, you can again apply for the Reisma van den Burg Stipendium, 2025 edition. Apply before 23 June 2025.

This stipend is named after the Frisian painter Cor Reisma (1902-1962) and established by his family. The biennial stipend is intended to offer recent graduates from all disciplines at Academy Minerva an opportunity to further develop their work through an (inter)national project. This may involve participation in a manifestation or event, research or a stay in a guest studio. This does not include regular (continuing) education. Candidates are encouraged to explore new areas and engage in artistic crossovers in their plan.

The grant amount is € 10,000 and awarded by a professional jury according to content, argumentation and budget. 
Plans must be submitted before 23 June 2025. The grant winner will be announced in September 2025. An exhibition of the winner will be organised around summer 2026 at Minerva Art Academy or a presentation institution in Groningen based on outcomes and report. Nominees will be invited to present their plan to the jury in August 2025.
