The workshops are indispensable for your development as an artistic maker and form your playing field. There, you can develop ideas and assignments independently or during lessons, and work towards a final project through experimentation and research. All Minerva students, regardless of study program or year of study, can make use of the workshops. It is an open community where you meet, work, learn from one another, and exchange knowledge, experiences, and ideas. Read more about the workshops on the website.
Scheduled Classes (Part of the Curriculum)
During the scheduled classes in the workshops, which are part of your program’s curriculum, you learn to work with materials, machines, and new techniques. Most of these costs are included in your tuition fees.
Open Walk-In (Not Part of the Curriculum)
Want to work extra in the workshop outside of scheduled classes? You can do so during open walk-in hours. Note: Open walk-in is not free. You pay €15 per half-day or €25 per full day. Material costs are charged separately. If you frequently use the workshops during open walk-in hours, the costs can add up quickly. With the regulation Workshop Contribution, you can save money.

The contribution costs €75 per academic year. With the Workshop Contribution:
- Open walk-in hours are free.
- Small materials are included (varies per workshop).
- You can use the photo and video studio for free.
- You can borrow equipment for free from the Media workshop.
