Απόγνωση, Μέρος 2° : The Womb
Working across painting and small-scale sculpture, Nena’s practice explores the tension between fragility and endurance. Through layered surfaces, bodily forms, and eroded textures, her work explores emotional sediment: how experiences of grief, loss, rupture, repair, and tenderness become embedded within internal landscapes over time. She focuses on how these traces accumulate and remain present within bodily and material experience. Her practice is concerned with how what is fragile does not disappear, but persists and transforms, forming shifting internal environments. The works invite a slower mode of looking, encouraging reflection on what is carried and recognized within oneself.
