NexTallinn

Kris Kool is an Estonian multidisciplinary designer who believes in design as a form of furthering the public interest. As a lifelong cyclist, he found it easy to acclimate to Dutch cycling culture but upon returning to Tallinn, he experienced reverse culture shock when it came to navigating the city he calls home. 

This feeling inspired his project “NexTallinn”, a subjective atlas of Tallinn’s past, present and future. Consisting of maps, history and tongue-in-cheek posters, the book aims to provide knowledge about Tallinn’s mobility infrastructure and thoughts on improving it.
